Hear Mount Pleasant working in the Neighborhood

Join us for a celebration!

Haydees Restaurant Thursday May 12th, 2011 7PM til late with live music, dancing and great food!

In March, the city's ABC Board made three landmark decisions, ending restrictions imposed on three local restaurants by a local civic group that impeded their ability to run their businesses and provide amenities their customers wanted to see.

With that fight over, the hard work goes on:

Family Night at Don Juan's

Just a reminder that Tuesday, April 26, 2011 is Family Night at Don Juan's Restaurant. We are celebrating the return of live entertainment to our neighborhood by hosting an evening of live, family-oriented music and puppet shows. Relax and enjoy dinner and bring the kids (or your neighbors kids). From 6-8 p.m.. Co-sponsored by The MTP Business Association and MTP Main Street.

Office of Planning Small Area Plan

In addition to ongoing work on the legal front to appeal the decision by the ABRA Board in the Don Juan's Carryout and Restaurant case, Hear Mount Pleasant has been busy working with the Office of Planning on developing their Small Area Plan. There have been several public meetings as well as several Advisory Group Meetings to which we have sent representatives. We try and make our supporters and the general Mt. Pleasant community aware of the Public Meetings and encourage as much engagement as possible.
