There are easy ways to help, and get together with your fellow neighbors. Local businesses are sponsoring events to raise money for the victims.

Don Juan's and Haydees

Thank you to Don Juan's for supplying dinner for all of the victims on Friday Night and Haydee's for supplying dinner on Saturday night. Both of these businesses have been active throughout this ordeal in helping out the victims.

Pfeiffer's Hardware

Pfeiffer's Hardware has been the drop-off point for cash locations since the tragedy began. Todd & Adriana are also spearheading the collection of gifts and the baby shower for Edilma Alvarez, a victim who is about to give birth.

Don Jaime's

Don Jaime will begin to collect funds for our friends this weekend. They will be donationg 20% from all sales of breakfast this week to the victims of the fire.

Come to the Mount Pleasant Main Street Wine Tasting event on March 18th at Marx Cafe, where profits will be donated to victims of the March 13 fire at 3145 Mt. Pleasant St. Try out some great wines and light appetizers and support your neighbors! Tuesday, March 18 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Marx Cafe 3203 Mt. Pleasant Street NW $15 cash or check (more welcome!)

Target

Target has also stepped in to help the victims of the fire. Information on this donation is being circulated to the victims.
